FoSTaC, FSSAI

Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC) is a large scale training and capacity building programme initiated by FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India). FSSAI has made training and certification mandatory for all central and state licensed Food Business Operators (FBOs) under the FSS Act, 06th October, 2017. It is mandated under the act to have at least one trained & certified food safety supervisor (FSS) for every 25 food handlers on their entire premise.

Global SME DevNet Private Limited is contributing to the FoSTaC Programme as a FSSAI affiliated or authorized training partner since February 2020 with having a PAN India presence of experts and pool of trainers from the food and beverage industry actively involved in the tasks of awareness creation, mobilization, orientation, training, assessments and certifying trainees in accordance with the FSS Act.
